Viewing client favorites

Here’s how to view the favorite photos that your clients have selected from a gallery:

  1. Open the PASS Desktop App and select the event your client is a guest or VIP in.
  2. Click the People button in the sidebar.
  3. Select the VIP whose favorites you want to view, or click Guest to reveal guest names and select one from there.
  4. Click Favorites.
  5. From here, you can either add the favorites to a new collection, or you can click Save to download them all to a specific folder of your computer.


VIP access

For any upgraded event, VIP guests can be given special permission to both view and download collections that other guests do not have access to. VIPs and the special access they are given can be managed from the People section. Collections that are only available to be viewed by VIP guests will be completely hidden from regular event guests.

Note: VIP guests will need to login with the exact email address you added to the VIP list.


Gifting Credits

Once you have sold some prints, you can use the Credits to invest in your clients. This will probably make them love you. And since they’re Credits, you’re not “buying” their love — you’re gifting it. So there. Everyone is happy.

Here’s how to gift Credits:

  1. Open the PASS Desktop App.
  2. Click on the event that your client is a Guest or VIP on.
  3. Click the People section.
  4. Make sure both the VIP and the Guest tabs are expanded.
  5. Select the client you want to send Credits to.
  6. Click Gift Credits.
  7. Type the amount you want to send in the “Create your own gift amount here” field, or select one of the preset options.
  8. Click Send Gift Now.

Note: Gifted PASS Credits are not transferrable or refundable. They function exactly like a gift card, they do not expire, and they cannot be returned to the sender.


Adding, editing, and removing clients

The People section in the PASS Desktop App lets you manage who is able to view your event. While you can send the link to anyone, you can give some people permission to view special collections.

Here’s how to manage people associated with your event:

  1. Open the PASS Desktop App and click the event you want to manage.
  2. Click the People button in the sidebar.

From here, you can add new VIPs by clicking Add VIP, or you can click a VIP’s name and change their access, view their favorites, give them PASS Credits, or send them a new invite.

If you want to edit the email of a VIP, simply click their name in the VIP dropdown and click their email address. You can type a new one here and click the checkmark when you’re finished.


Inviting clients again

When you create an event, you must add one recipient to it. This person will be added to the VIP list. You can then invite them to view the event and specify whether they can download and view additional collections. If your client didn’t receive their invite, or they accidently deleted it, you can invite them again. Here’s how:

  1. With an event open in the PASS Desktop App, click the People button in the sidebar.
  2. Under the VIP menu, click the client you want to invite again.
  3. Click Invite.
  4. Add an optional message and click Send Invite.
  5. Cookies. Eat them all to celebrate the success.
