Changing Print Prices

In this article:

PASS gives you full control of the pricing for print products you offer for events. Custom pricing sheets can also be applied to specific events automatically to save you time.

List prices

For print sizes and base pricing we offer the following:

PASS List Price discount for any paid PASS event:

  • 4x6 - $0.50
  • 5x7 - $1.00
  • 8x10 - $2.00

Plus all the following larger sizes/prices…

Standard List Price on free PASS events:

  • 4x6 - $0.73
  • 5x7 - $1.15
  • 8x10 - $2.20
  • 11x14 - $4.40
  • 8 Wallets - $2.20

Gallery Wraps:

  • 16x24 - Canvas - $104.00
  • 20x30 - Canvas - $134.50
  • 24x36 - Canvas - $170.50

Photo Cards:

  • 25 Flat Cards - 5x7 - $29.99
  • 25 Folded Cards - 5x7 - $44.99

Changing an event's pricing

You can quickly change each individual event's pricing in the PASS Desktop App. Here's how:

  1. Open the PASS Desktop App.
  2. From the home screen, right-click the event you want to change the print pricing on, hover over Price Sheet, and select the price sheet you want to use.
  3. You can also click New Price Sheet to create one specifically for that event.

Modifying price sheets

Here's how to modify a price sheet:

  1. Open the PASS Desktop App and click the Profile icon in the top toolbar.
  2. Click the Price Sheets tab, then click Manage Price Sheets.
  3. Click the Sheet you would like to change, hover over it, and click View.
  4. Type things.
  5. Click Done, then click Save & Close.
  6. Sell prints!

You can also create your own price sheet. Here’s how:

  1. From the Manage Price Sheets screen, click Create New.
  2. Select the items you’d like to sell and enter the prices for each.
  3. Click Save, then Save & Close to publish your changes.

There are two preset price sheets:

  • Optimal Pricing: This is the default price sheet. We have optimized it to give your clients a great deal on prints, but also allow you to make commission on each item ordered. It ends up being a great deal for everyone!
  • The Hook Up: This charges clients exactly the exact cost of printing. As the photographer, you won’t make any commission on Hook Up orders, but your clients will be stoked to know you’re giving them a great deal.

Setting default price sheets

You can set default prices for the three categories in PASS: Wedding, Portrait, and Other. Here’s how:

  1. From the Manage Price Sheets screen, click the Defaults tab.
  2. In each dropdown menu, select a price sheet to correspond with the category.
  3. Click Save & Close.

Changing prices on past events

You can quickly change the price sheets on past events in the three categories of PASS, as well as events that aren’t in a category. Here’s how:

  1. From the Manage Price Sheets screen, click the Defaults tab.
  2. Click the dropdown below Choose Price Sheet and select a sheet you’d like to apply.
  3. Check the boxes beside the categories you want to apply this price sheet to.
  4. Click Apply Now and click Save & Close.
  5. That’s it!

    When I change the prices how is the s commission figured out and paid?
